Trees! Fall 2022

Saturday, December 3 – SW 91st Street & 46th Boulevard, Gainesville

We planted 15 southern magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora) and sand live oaks (Quercus geminata) along SW 91st Street, between the intersections with 46th Boulevard and SW 51st Road.

 

Saturday, November 5 – Fort Clarke Boulevard, Gainesville

We planted 24 trees – bald cypress (Taxodium distichum) and live oaks (Quercus virginiana) – along Fort Clarke Boulevard, across from Hidden Oak Elementary School, 2100 Fort Clarke Boulevard.

 

Saturday, October 22 – Veterans Memorial Park, Gainesville

We planted 18 trees – live oaks (Quercus virginiana) and American sycamores (Platanus occidentalis) – near the parking lot of Veterans Memorial Park, 7400 SW 41st Place, Gainesville, Florida.

 

Saturday, September 24 – Kimball Wiles Elementary School, Gainesville

We planted 30 trees – bald cypress (Taxodium distichum), bluff oak (Quercus austrina), live oak (Quercus virginiana), pond cypress (Taxodium ascendens), and southern magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora) – on the grounds of Kimball Wiles Elementary School, 4601 SW 75 Street.
